Preeclampsia Promise Walk Fundraiser Mini Session

Hello!

I am finally catching up with my blog here from all of the sessions I've had this past month! It's been so crazy, but so much fun!

This feature is from the Promise Walk for Preeclampsia Fundraiser mini portrait session I had about a week ago.

I donated a mini session to a fundraiser: Promise Walk for Preeclampsia. Preeclampsia is a serious disease related to high blood pressure during pregnancy that takes the lives of 76,000 mothers and 500,000 babies each year worldwide. It can happen to any pregnant woman during the second half of her pregnancy, or up to six weeks after delivery. Right now, there’s no known cure for preeclampsia or way to prevent it. I decided to donate my time to help raise money for their cause. A mini session, which was an end result of an $85 donation towards the organization!

The family who put forth the money for the session was so wonderful. They have their own amazing story, and I was so happy to work with them!

I'm excited to donate more in the future.
